Most relaxing thing to do: Lay on the beach and fall

THE ROCK: What made you get interested in modeling?
ISABEL: I always admired a woman who could
show a
sexiness in a photograph without having to exploit her
body in a "look at my body" way. I want to be one of
those women who show sexiness and sultriness while
still being classy. I want to show these things
through my expressions without having to be uncovered
to get attention.
THE ROCK: Who
is your role model in the modeling
industry?
ISABEL: Definitely Tyra Banks - she is beautiful
inside and out.

THE ROCK: What
are your goals in the modeling
industry?
ISABEL: Well I know I will never be a haute
couture,
high fashion, runway model; but I hope to make it big
in the commercial modeling industry.
THE ROCK: If
you could change something about the
world, what would it be?
ISABEL: Gas prices...Well, that too, but
if I had to
choose one thing, I would take away the concept of
stereotypes in everyone's minds. It is stereotypes
that cause all this cultural and ethnic tension that
is holding the world back from advancing into a more
civilized place.

THE ROCK: What
(3) words best describe you?
ISABEL: Kind-hearted (Can that count as one
word?),
personable, open-minded, and goofy (yes I used 4 words!) That last
one is very important!
THE ROCK: What
are the pros and cons of the modeling
world?
ISABEL: Pros:
You get to express yourself! Beautiful
pictures are not made by someone being fake! Also,
every photographer is an artist; therefore, each one
is different. It never gets monotonous or boring
because each one is unique.
Cons: It is time-consuming. There are the
miracle
success stories where someone was discovered while
checking out groceries, at a party, eating in a mall,
etc. But the truth is that no one will see you unless
you put yourself out there - and that takes time, A
LOT of time! Every single day that I have off of my
job (which is one MAYBE two days a week) I am shooting
so that I can stay fresh on everyone's minds. Even on
days that I don't have off, I would do a shoot from
7am-9am and then work 10am-7pm! It's hard to do but I
love doing it and it will pay off in the end!
THE ROCK: What
is your most exciting experience in
modeling thus far?
ISABEL: So many things are exciting! Being
in front of
the camera is exciting. Having photographers and
agents call you telling you how much they love your
work and would love to work with you is exciting.
Opening a magazine and seeing your face in it when you
didn't know it was there is exciting. As I said, all
the hard work pays off in the end!
THE ROCK: Thank
you, Isabel. Best wishes.
