THE ROCK: What made you get interested in modeling?
LAUREN: Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to model. I kept this a secret until I was about fourteen years old, because I was embarassed. I finally told my boyfriend at the time about my dreams, and he convinced me to tell my parents. They were able to arrange a photo shoot for me and then we proceeded to search for the agency which best suited me. I am very grateful for their support.
THE ROCK: Who
is your role model in the modeling industry?
LAUREN: Mandy Moore, Carmen Kass, Tyra Banks,
and Christy Turlington.
THE ROCK: In your opinion, what is the industry
looking for?
LAUREN: The industry is always changing what
kind of models are in demand. Very thin models, freckles, and full lips
may be in one year and not the next. The industry's demand is always changing.
THE ROCK: What
are your goals in the modeling industry?
LAUREN: I love high fashion modeling like
Vogue, V, and W magazines. Ultimately, high fashion is my main modeling
goal, but I also love runway and sport/fitness.
THE ROCK: If
you could change something about the world, what would it be?
LAUREN: War on Iraq.
THE ROCK: What
(3) words best describe you?
LAUREN: Genuine, Kind, Fun.
THE ROCK: What
are the advantages of modeling?
LAUREN: Advantages of modeling are feeling
good about myself and my appearance, the income, and the exciting opportunities
to meet people and visit places I've never been.
THE ROCK What
advice would you give to someone entering the industry now?
LAUREN: It really depends what the person
is trying to accomplish within modeling, how dedicated they are, their
stats, and their personality. It takes a lot of time, commitment, energy,
and attitude to be successful in the industry. The best general advice
I can give is to be yourself.
